'It's Just Not True': Chip Roy Pushes Back On Marijuana Prosecution Claims
At Thursday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) pushed back on the idea that people were arrested and prosecuted for only “smoking a joint,” stating that they pled down to such offenses after being arrested for much more serious crimes.
